Helping Non-Profits: The Google Ad Grant

One thing that we pride ourselves on here at Centrus, is our love for the community, and the arts in our community. The arts community is fueled by non-profits that promote and enhance the art community in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. One thing we know about non-profits is that they often have tight budgets so that they can put their money into the programs they are sharing with us. That’s where Google comes in by offering their Google Ad Grants program!

How does it work?? Google will give registered 501(c)(3) organizations up to $10,000 in search advertising every month! If your non-profit qualifies, you will receive up to $10,000 a month in paid search advertising! These are the same ads that businesses pay out of pocket to drive traffic to their website to convert business, that will convert donations and volunteers to your non-profit.

Google requires that your ads maintain a 5% click through rate, that you are able to track conversions on your website, and that all of the keywords that trigger your ads maintain a quality score of at least 3 out of 10. Quality score is the metric that Google uses to measure the relevancy of your ad to the searcher. All of these requirements can be daunting to someone not experienced in Google Ads. We are experts and currently manage more than a dozen grants for area nonprofits representing over $150,000 in free advertising each month.

We specialize in helping the Seacoast’s non-profits drive traffic to their website so that they can continue to grow and enhance our community with the amazing arts productions they put together!
