Closing the Profit Loop: Know Where Your Money Goes

In the past year, we have worked with clients who schedule appointments and conduct financial transactions on their website who are using a third-party service like Square, Bookeo, or Magento. The concept is simple; a prospective client lands on your website, schedule an appointment, and boom, you made a sale. What most of our clients aren’t thinking about is how can they tell which marketing effort landed that client on to their website to convert the sale.

If you are a business owner, you know the importance of tracking the money that you are spending on generating clients to make sure that you are utilizing the best efforts that you can to create as much of a return as you can as well. So how do you know if that customer who booked on your website was coming from a Facebook ad, a Google ad, a direct mailer, or word of mouth?

You are making sure that the scheduling tool you are using integrates with Google Analytics!

If not, how can you tell if your website is working for you? How can you tell how many appointments you booked from the social media campaign, or how much revenue you drove with those banner ads?

We live in 2018. You shouldn’t be spending money on marketing if you can’t trace the return. Direct mail? Who knows? Unless you offer a discount – which you shouldn’t have to do! TV? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Digital?

You should know how every dollar was spent and what it did for you! Make every dollar work, learn what about your business, and value prop resonates with your customers AND what doesn’t.

If you are using a booking service, shoot us an email and we can help you see if it’s connected to Google Analytics so that you can better track your conversions!
